Real estate as a collateral on Harbor

Hello back Comdex Community,

Thank you for your insightful questions and your patience. We were not posting for few day due to increased travel and our day to day consulting business obligations. Let’s address your questions one by one:

1. Roadmap Progress: We are unwavering in our commitment to delivering a robust and secure platform that seamlessly integrates the technical aspects of blockchain with our Real Estate Development project. As we said before, we are still trying to catch up with our correct understanding of different elements of the Cosmos standard SDK, Ignite and CosmWasm. In fact, let me take advantage and publicly invite anyone with Cosmos Architecture and programming skills that would like to be part of the project to contact us.

In the other hand, we believe that being part of Validation segment of blockchain industry will help us in the process of building more serious skills, specially when it comes to security. As we progress, it’s crucial to recognize that our roadmap isn’t solely guided by the blockchain’s technical development (important part of course). We’re currently engaged in the pivotal process of obtaining building authorization for our Real Estate Development Project in Greece. This presents us with a unique opportunity to launch a simplified MVP version of the ODISEO concept and start collecting feedback from the market. Personally, I would not like to be another empty project, with some functionality that nobody use, but instead having a real business case running with real assets attached to it.

As we embark on this journey, we are taking meticulous steps to establish a system architecture structure that serves as the foundation for our development (conversation with Comdex is a part of this process). We continue engaging some colleagues from the space to validate our assumptions. We currently believe that the easiest way to start, would be to set up few nodes with new ODISEO Cosmos Network first. There is very interesting conversation on-going within our DAODISEO group around max supply (apparently does not exist in Cosmos  - Add max-supply param to mint module · Issue #13308 · cosmos/cosmos-sdk · GitHub), as well as about rate of inflation of such ODIS fungible token and genesis in general. We should be able to come up with test version within this year.

It would be extremely welcome if you could clarify what is COMDEX strategy regarding it’s Max Supply that can be seen in GoinGecko ?

2. Permissionless vs. Permissioned CosmWasm: We understand the significance of this decision. The choice between permissionless and permissioned CosmWasm is pivotal. We aim to strike a balance between openness and security. The ideal approach is to adopt permissionless features while ensuring the network’s security and reliability. We are closely monitoring the progress of the CosmWasm ecosystem and will make an informed decision based on the best interests of all participants of the project.

3. Node Operation: Regarding the node, you raised a pertinent point about trust. Running a node ourselves is one option, which aligns with our commitment to transparency, compliance, and trustworthiness. However, we also acknowledge the benefits of a white-label node. Our final decision will be made after analyzing what is available in the market. We are happy to connect with anyone that has experience in validation to explore collaboration options. We are starting more regular validation training this year. Nevertheless, we will definitely need to start with White-label I think.

4. ERC1400 Structure: We appreciate your interest in understanding our approach to the ERC1400 structure. Despite of some projects promoting the standard, we still don’t have any solid confirmation what is the cosmos strategy for it. We will keep researching the space. Cosmos will need to also have security standard (non fungible in its nature) tokens for RWA. We just don’t have a clue who within the ecosystem is well positioned to lead the initiative.

Thank you for your patience and support. We look forward to continuing this journey with you, and we remain committed to building a platform that truly empowers all of us.

Best regards,
DAODISEO
